Adventures in Shopping

Hello friends- yes I am still alive! I had to write to tell you all an amazing thing.... Today I bought my first ever "little black dress"- my first ever- in my whole life- it is a size 14- and I bought it in Macys!!!
I will wear it to my school's prom on Thursday- (I am a chaperone)- I am still in a daze from the experience- it used to take me hours- even days to find a formal outfit- today it took 1 hour- and I bought 2 dresses! I am very happy- but i feel like it is not real- I have not worn a dress in 5 years... it is going to be an interesting week- 3 events to attend- I also cut and dyed my hair yesterday- I am wondering if some of my friends will even know it is me.... LOL!

Almost there!!!

I am so sorry I have not posted- life has been incredibly insane... however the amazing news is.... that Monday I weighed 188!!!!!!  so according to my original plans- I am 8 pounds away from my goal weight!
However- i feel that i need to lose a little more- so I am going to go to 175- then tone up this summer and see if I am content with those results.... It has been a challenge these past few weeks- there was even one week I did not get to the gym at all- but somehow I managed to lose 8 more pounds- now that I jump started my metabolism- I guess the portions and combinations of foods I am eating are still working...
Love you all- before and after pics coming soon- I need to buy new clothes- down 10 sizes in pants! I need to hit the Jackpot!!!!!
